Barre

Barre uses a unique combination of isometric exercises (small intense movements) alternated with stretching to help you create the longer, leaner looking physique associated with working out at the barre. In this dynamic class you’ll use a combination of bodyweight resistance, light props, work at the ballet barre and high repetitions to exhaust all major muscle groups. Particular focus is given to activating and toning the arms, thighs, seat and core.

This class is low impact and is suitable for all fitness levels. Choreography changes in every class to ensure you don’t plateau and to keep your muscles guessing.

    A short strong Barre class that utilises mostly bodyweight.
    Equipment: 2 Yoga Blocks (or thick books)

    A total body strengthening Barre class in 36mins!
    All abilities welcome, modifications given, low impact.

  • Arm Workout 11mins

    A short isolation of your arms using 1-1.5kg dumbells. Classic barre style burnout!

  • Barre 23, (28mins with theraband)

    A full body Barre workout, that uses a long theraband to create resistance throughout. All under 30minutes.
    Equipment: Mat, Long Theraband.

  • Core Workout (20mins)

    A core workout that covers everything! Your abdominals and your back extensors. Great to tag on to a workout/stretch as extra core work or a stand alone core isolation. It's tough so take modifications if needed. Grab a mat and get going.

  • Glute Isolation Workout! (13mins)

    Whether it be glute activation before a run, or an intense tag on glute workout, this will up your glute strength game!
